I’m not gonna lie – it was an exhausting week, my friends! Four all day 2019 planning meetings and 2 team dinners with my clients! By Friday, my brain was fried – but no time for that! Thank goodness my long time friend Lauren was there to help get my wardrobe situated before this week began, because I sure didn’t have time to think about it! Last week I had so much fun back in my friend fabulous fashionista and impeccable IP attorney Leela Madan of Madan Law. We styled Leela for a week of power client meetings, networking events, peer and mentor group gatherings as well as an interview she conducted with a potential new attorney joining her practice. Leela’s firm has a laid back comfortable vibe, but they are very serious about what they do and how they take care of their clients – somewhat of a wardrobe challenge.

Outfit Strategies for Handling the Holiday Meal – Which One Did You Choose?

There are a couple of different philosophies on what to wear to Thanksgiving dinner. One strategy is to wear an outfit that will be comfortable even if you over do it a bit on the stuffing and pumpkin pie. It is the Thanksgiving feast after all so you want to be able to enjoy it without being made miserable by a tight waistband. And then there is the other philosophy which goes something like this: the waistband isn’t what is making you miserable, you did this to yourself by overeating.
