Houston Center Holiday Market

Today I decided to skip lunch and take a quick browse through some of the lovely tables set up near the The Shops at Houston Center food court where local vendors were selling locally made items.  I’ve come to appreciate supporting local vendors, but if you don’t live in Houston, many of these vendors have websites where products can be purchased as well.  Here are some of the lovely things I found:

Ceibo Purses

These adorable purses created by Maria Cadena of Ceibo are hand made and vegan.  I loved the blush and white purses, but she also had one in olive green which I may need to go back for at lunch tomorrow!  Learn more about Maria and Ceibo on her website, on Twitter or Instagram.

Next I chatted with Brittney Moore of Rosehip Essentials – her products looked and smelled good enough to eat – yummy!  The lip treatment 4 pack will definitely make my gift list.  Learn more about Brittney and Rosehip on her website, on Twitter, or Instagram.

Claire Drennan of Claire Drennan Knitwear was also a lot of fun to chat with.  Claire’s accessories are made from 100% cotton which really works in Houston (or other warm climates).  Her ties were so fun, but the reversible scarf/shawl looked very appealing given our recent chilly weather here in Houston.  Learn more about Clair on her website.

Just past Claire’s booth were some really cute shoes and nice leather goods – will have to take a closer look at those tomorrow…

And last, but most definitely not least, I chatted with Mair Emanogu.  Mair has created a lovely fragrance that I’ve been smelling all day on the sample she gave me and I think I’m hooked.  Its a clean floral smell that is a departure from my usual preference of a heavier sweet scent, but I really like it!  Learn more about Mair on her website, Twitter, Instagram, or YouTube channel.

Hmm, I may just have to do my very first “haul” video based on what I acquire when I go back tomorrow.  If you are in Houston this week and especially if you work downtown, definitely worth checking out this holiday market!
